Senior Staff Scientist, Mission Systems Group (MSG) Seismo-Acoustic group

What do you like most about working with your team?

I have the opportunity to work on team of experts across multiple disciplines, from acoustics, to seismology, to High Performance Computing, to Meteorology.
 

How does your expertise make a difference at ENSCO?

I am the lead subject matter expert in acoustics, playing a lead role in several programs. My specific expertise includes sound propagation models, atmospheric characterization, and signal analysis/interpretation.

How has ENSCO supported your career growth?

ENSCO’s provided the opportunity to develop new capabilities and initiatives, via IRADs and business development overhead.

What made you want to become an engineer?

My dad was an Electrical Engineer (EE), so I grew up doing electronics and other kinds of projects. I enjoyed fixing things or creating new things from scratch. I guess I followed in his footsteps with a B.S. and M.S. in EE. I also loved music and audio so that lead me to getting a PhD in acoustics!

What do you like to do outside of work?

Home improvement projects on weekends. Tennis every night during the week!
