Springfield, Va., March 12, 2019
ENSCO Rail will exhibit at the NT Expo in São Paulo, Brazil, March 19-21. A leader in track condition monitoring technology, ENSCO will showcase its track inspection products, including the Autonomous Track Geometry Measurement System (ATGMS) and V/TI (Vehicle/Track Interaction) monitor.
The ATGMS is an unmanned, fully autonomous track geometry measurement system that reports geometry conditions, including gage, crosslevel, alignment, surface/profile and limiting speeds in curves. The ATGMS can be installed on revenue service vehicles to measure track conditions while the host vehicle operates in revenue service. The ATGMS is the most cost-effective track geometry measurement solution available today.
The V/TI monitor provides unattended condition-based monitoring of the interactions that take place between the railway vehicle and the track. The monitor reports the location of poor track conditions, such as surface, alignment and wheel-rail impacts via wireless communication. This technology provides a quantitative approach to prioritizing track maintenance.
“ENSCO has long led the rail industry in innovating technology for rail safety,” states ENSCO President Boris Nejikovsky. “We are pleased to be part of the railway condition-based monitoring technology growth in the Latin American market. Participation in NT Expo gives us the chance to showcase the work we are doing in this important market and around the world.”
As the most visited event in South America and the leader in innovations, technology, products and services presentations for the metro-railroad industry, NT Expo annually attracts decision makers, business leaders, trendsetters, public policy managers, engineers, and buyers.
