Colorado Springs, April 4, 2024
Leaders from ENSCO, Inc.’s cybersecurity team will outline their crucial involvement with the U.S. Space Force (USSF) during the April Cybersecurity First Friday event in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
ENSCO’s Cybersecurity Director Stephen Treanor, along with Joe Alvarez, a senior information systems security engineer, will discuss the role ENSCO’s Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) team performs for USSF across several mission areas, including the new DCO-S “Tuning Team,” which supports cyber defense tools at dozens of USSF bases and remote sites.
They will also detail the company’s need to hire six additional experts to support this growing area for ENSCO. The new team will work with USSF mission systems ahead of their Manticore and Kraken deployments, providing installation and troubleshooting of deployed suites, remote follow-up, and on-site support as needed. The ideal candidates will be fluent in containers and virtual applications, Linux operating systems, cybersecurity tools, and have extensive open-source SIEM experience.
The event takes place on Friday, April 5 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the National Cybersecurity Center (3650 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs). Register for the free gathering here.
