Bindi Patel, vice president of contracts and procurement and corporate risk officer for ENSCO, Inc., is featured in a recent article from Washington Exec.
Patel emphasizes how ENSCO’s specific, mission-targeted expertise has defined the company since its beginnings in 1969.
“We are an innovative company that takes research and development (R&D) to market solutions,” Patel told the reporter. “That’s how we started out, and it’s a core part of our culture.”
Patel, a 20-year veteran in the GovCon space who joined ENSCO in late 2023, explained how the company’s workforce reflects that focus. Nearly 80 percent of ENSCO’s employees are scientists or engineers, who are passionate about R&D and innovation work.
“It gives everyone at the company a chance to explore and develop new capabilities,” Patel told Washington Exec. “It’s exciting for them, and it’s mutually beneficial to us, because these are new solutions that we can provide to our customers.”
